Unfortunately there have been a few hiccups in getting the replacement parts that we need. Our Engineers are currently working with our Master Control in Spokane as well as the equipment vendor to expedite the replacement process, but it may take some time. Our Engineering Department may be able to temporarily borrow some replacement equipment and get us back on the air, but we will not know for sure until tomorrow. We expect another status update tomorrow. From all of us at NWPTV we sincerely appreciate your understanding while we work tirelessly to restore our signal, and as always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

From our Engineering Department: NWPTV has identified the problem with transmission of the KWSU signal. It is a bad part in the Studio to Transmitter Link (STL) which delivers the signal to the transmitter. The part is being expedited from the east coast. Look for an update tomorrow mid-day as to the status of the part.

Our engineers have ordered parts for the piece of equipment that has failed and we are hoping they are in Pullman tomorrow afternoon. KWSU is still on the air via Campus Cable AND TWC channel 10 (our 10.1 and 10.2 are the current issue). Our DirecTV and DISH coverage on KWSU continues, as well as channel 18 in Spokane.
You can watch your favorite PBS shows & NWPTV shows on our video portal. Thanks for hanging in there with us.
VIEWER NOTES: We are currently experiencing technical issues with KWSU. Our engineers discovered the problem last night and are working hard to get us back on the air. We have identified the problem BUT don't have any parts in-stock and are waiting for them to be shipped overnight.
This issue is something we experienced this past summer in the Tri-Cities so we have a better plan of attack when it comes to resolving this issue with KWSU.
