Acclaimed Northwest guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Truck Mills is a musical explorer. The foundation of his music lies in the country blues tradition and he has been hailed by critics as a master of the fingerpicked slide guitar, but he roves far and wide from this grounding. He also plays traditional and original music from the Middle-East and South America on the Turkish saz, the South American charango and the Middle-Eastern oud. Truck's shared the stage with artists such as Keb' Mo', and Jesse Collin Young, been featured on National Public Radio, and was one of the solo artists featured at the "Guitar Summit" concert in 2004 at the Met Theatre in Spokane Washington. Critically acclaimed by blues and folk music reviewers, Truck's music has been described as "soul-stirring," "amazing," "authentic," "warm," "crisp and clear."
